Daughter's 3-Year Old Pictures

I just got home from getting my daughters 3-year old pictures taken. A photo studio close to my home call Portrait Innovations is have a deal right now for one pose for 9.95. It includes:

1 - 10 x 13
2 - 8 x 10
4 - 5 x 7
4 - 3 x 5
32 - wallets
6 - portrait cards

I was very excited when I saw this ad in the paper because a couple of my girl friends had Christmas pictures taken here and I loved them.

I knew going in that they make their money selling up once you see the pictures. But, I made up my mind before I called that this was all I was going to get, as it is more than we really even needed. I gave them the impression before I even saw the pictures that I was only looking for their special package.

Then I saw the pictures. I didn't show them any wavering in my resolve to just get the special package but inside I was running numbers in my head. I really wanted to get more than one pose, but I didn't need them. The person that took my daughters pictures ran through her sales pitch and when I said that I only wanted the special package she didn't pressure me at all. What a relief. I hate pressure sales.

I got my pictures before I left the studio with a smile on my face. Based on that experience I might be back at Christmas. They may make their money on us then...
