Well, I don't feel good about getting a lot done. But, I do feel good about the fact that the porch is done. Also, I feel good about getting all caught up on my laundry. However, my house is far from a peaceful place right now. I will work on that tomorrow I guess.

Yesterday was a crazy day for me. I didn't get up as early as I like and when I did I worked on getting a grocery list together and paid bills. Then when I was ready to go shopping my husband let me know that he was planning on doing some work outside our home. So, he left and I stayed home. I played with my daughter. Then when he got home I rushed out to get my errands done. Then it was time to go out with friends and their kids for a fun outing. 10 adults and 13 kids! We invaded a small pizza place afterward. My daughter sat at the kids table while my husband and I sat at the adult table. I had to visit the kids table often. When we got home we put my daughter to bed, early but she didn't have a nap. I went to bed and read. I was asleep around 9.
Today is a new day and I hope it to be more productive. I have already dressed and taken the dishes out of the dishwasher. I want to put more dishes in and get packed for church.

I have just as much reason to feel overwhelmed to day as yesterday, maybe more. But, I don't feel as overwhelmed. This just goes to show me how much my state of mind plays into it. I would right more, but my husband just got out of the shower. This means I can get dressed and get ready for church.

It is going to be a beautiful day. We are going to go to church and then Grandma is coming home with us to watch our daughter while my husband and I paint our porch. It seems to need to be painted every year. (Although, I think we only paint it about every other year.) I love having the large wrap porch we have. It is nice for so many reasons. (Can play outside on porch when raining. Can leave windows open on that side even if it is raining. A shady spot outside on those warm sunny days.) But, I hate painting it.
